Each house is architecturally the same as far as the exterior goes (from what I have seen), but each house (complete with gardens) has been customised by its occupants. There are a variety of bushes on display most obviously but then there are the more subtle differences like curtains versus blinds and different front doors (although not all are visible). I think this is kind of where I want to take my work.
I really need to get back over to Manchester to continue this and expand it further.
I wonder whether to stick with older housing or whether to look at the new stuff instead as it will be more obviously samey.
