These two images are from my second shoot, again in Blackpool. I have decided to stop worrying so much about whether the houses are lived in or not (Baltz, upon closer inspection, did shoot houses that were lived in as well as the un-lived in ones.)
I really don't like these images. I think the composition is off and the style does not fit. Particularly the second image. I need to find some plainer buildings and focus more on details I think.
These next houses are slightly better approached. I think these are beginging to become a bit stronger as images. I think the closest to a final I have shot so far would be the second of these. I also think the last one is getting a little closer to what it should be.
I think the fact there is less overt brick work also helps in making these work better.
