Seen as I don't seem to be getting anywhere with the houses I have been shooting I decided to go out shooting with the intention of finding some more prestigious houses to provide a different view point and hopefully to spark something significant.
The houses below I shot tightly cropping them so rather than provide the whole picture (so to speak) the images show a more concentrated view of the house.
Aside from the snow (which is horrible) I am not happy with these images, the composition says nothing as there doesnt seem to be point to them. the portrait images appear interesting only because geometrically there are some interesting shapes that emerge. otherwise theres nothing.
The landscape images have even less going for them.
this shoot clearly shows that the house needs to be shown as a whole in this case, my previous works look much bette visually.
